Sumif and Index Match

Hi,

Im trying to create a summary from a big data. I have tried with vlookup + sum if but since the value is before the lookup, it doest work.

	A	B	D	
	12	cost 1	type A	
	3	cost 2	type D	
	4	cost 3	type B	
	55	cost 4	type D	
	6	cost 5	type C	
	7	cost 3	type D	
	35	cost 2	type D	
				
				
				
Result				
				
	type A	type B	type C	type D
Cost 1	12			
Cost 2				38
Cost 3		4		7
Cost 4				55
Cost 5			6

How can archive this with sumif and index?
