Linking data from another book only if cells in a row are occupied?

    Hello,

I have several workbooks on a network that I need to link data from to a master list. I would like to link rows in a sheet only is if the first cell has data. This master list will also have each sheet linked, one under the other.

Is it possible to do this, and will each sheet linked area on the master auto expand as data is added to the source?

Source Deric's PO workbook, sheet 1, cell A1 has data then Master links it, if not then no linking. For some reason I can't attach any of the source files. The master destination is attached.

Thanks for your time, but that only returns the cell, not the entire row. I would also like to have it auto update when opened as well where you do not have to point it to each workbook. For some reason, though the path is correct in the statement it asks for the location each time.

In short, when opening the attached file it should update the linked info only with rows determined by a populated cell in that row. The returned needs to look as the linked info does in the attached file. If cell A1 of Deric's workbook is populated then link the row to Master PO workbook. As I said I am not sure this is the best way to go about it., but I need something that looks at 1 sheet, in multiple workbooks, and links to a single workbook sheet.
