Questions about ISNUMBER function and Freeze Panes.

    Hi,

    1. Have a question about the ISNUMBER function.

    Example:
cell A1 value is an alphabet or a number
cell A2 value is an alphabet or a number
cell A3 value is an alphabet or a number
cell A4 value is an alphabet or a number
cell A5 value is a number

cell A6 would be the value of (A1xA5)+(A2xA5)+(A3xA5)+(A4xA5)
Where any alphabet(s) in A1, A2, A3 and A4 is to be treated as value=0.

How to write down the correct formula?

    2. How to retain Freeze Panes when converting .xls to .htm (the simplest way for newbie)?
