Caclulate US & Canadian timezones by state to EST (NY) Time

Hi Folks,
I have attached an Excel 2010 spreadsheet to show the basic concept.

So, I have a spreadsheet with a timetable of events occurring is separate states in the US & Canada.

Is there a formula, that will automatically adjust the time to New York time so that I don't have to calculate the timetable for each state separately ?

added a helper column in B which is the time zone for the state
you can either do it with a nested if statement (gets messy if you have many timezones) or use a vlookup like example i have attached
