    IF formula help

    Hi Guys,

    I hope you can help with a simple solve.

    I am trying to get the following IF formula to pull data into a table. The formula is;

    =IF(A$1=D2,A3)

    But once cell A1 changes from 'Week 14' to 'Week15', the data disapears from the cells referenced to Week 14.

    How do i extend the formula so the data is held once i move onto the next week?

    Thanks in advance.

    Re: IF formula help

    Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

    Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

    Re: IF formula help

    Hi sorry for the delay in getting back. I've been on leave from work.

    Example 1.xls.jpg
    Example one shows the datat being pulled into the column headed Week 15 as it matches 'Week 15' contained in Cell A1.

    Example 2.xls.jpg
    But once 'Cell A1' changes to 'Week 16'(Example 2), the column headed 'Week 15' then reads False as it no longer matches cell A1 in the reference.

    Thanks.
