Hi,
For some reason my formula creates a value that I cannot adjust the decimal points for?
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance

Probably cannot help much without knowing what the formula is.
Is it a text formula (mid, left, right, etc) that generates a text string rather than a real number? If so, you might nest the whole thing inside of the VALUE() function. http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ex...583.aspx?CTT=1

I think I have figured it, sorry. The formula contained SUBSTITUTE which when removed now returns the correct value?
I can get around this by using the correct terminology in the look up table.
Any ideas why this happens for future reference?
