Data Lookup

I am trying to build a worksheet for my children's parent teacher club that is proving to be more difficult for me than I thought that it would. I thought that it would be a simple vlookup and it would work. But it isn't working. What I have is a data sheet that is filled with columns that include teacher names, student names, parent names, etc.... I have a tab for each teacher in every grade. What I want is on each tab to have a formula look on that data tab and be able to pull over only the parents/students data that are in those respective teachers' class and pass by anyone that doesn't meet that criteria. The vlookup is just duplicating its answer till it gets to the next correct answer. Does anyone have any good ideas/solutions for me that I am most likely overlooking as I haven't built anything like this in several years! Thanks so much for your time and help!

So you want to populate Columns C-L on the 'Data' worksheet based on the data in Columns A-B?

I want to Pull over Columns B-D (Child, Parent, Phone Number) in the Data tab to the correct Class tabs to the right using the teacher (column a in the data tab) that has been assigned to their child for the school year. So the first grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade tabs, etc....
Is this possible? Or am I just making this more difficult than it needs to be?

Well the way the data and tables are organized is what makes it difficult. And the naming conventions aren't consistent, which is going to make it impossible to look up certain values (e.g., Mrs. Santo vs Kathy Santo). If this is a one-time issue, it might be easier to just sort your 'Data' worksheet by teacher and copy and paste the relevant rows of data into their respective tables.

ok. Thanks. I honestly hadn't even gotten to Mrs. Santo's class yet for that to even be a problem. I was still working on the early childhood tab and why it was duplicating the values. Thanks for your time.

If you number the students by class, then you can easily pull in the relevant info. See attached.
