How to find the 'next month' given a starting month as text?

    Hi all,

I have a starting month, say "Jan" and the rest of my months flow on from, and are dependent on, this starting month.

Is their any simple way to have all the subsequent months change in response to the first date changing?

I am sure its a simple function, but I can't seem to find it.

    Many thanks

Jan, on its own, isnt a date. However, does this work? Change the unput at A1...

    Hi,

Thanks for your reply. What you said about 'Jan' not being a date has helped me.

What suggested works, however cause I want the dates in text I have tried using a lookup table with the months offset by one and that seems to work fine.

    Many thanks.
