Looking to "find" and auto-populate data from two separate sheets

Greetings!
First time poster, long time lurker. I'm in a bit of a bind for how to solve the following issue...

The setup:
Sheet 1
Column A: Customer Number (parsed down to select few)
Column B: Want to AUTO-FILL with their pay-plan name

Sheet 2
Column A: Customer Number (all customers)
Column B: Pay-Plan name

Is there any way for Excel to 'search' through Sheet 2 to identify the 1) Customer Number, and 2) Pull the pay-plan name into Sheet 1 Column B? The issue seems to be that Excel can't pull only the customer's numbers' listed in Column A, and match with the corresponding Column B Pay-Plan on Sheet 2.

I've tried 'vLookUp' with no avail...

Use ctrl + shift + enter to enter the formula.. as its an array formula..

Don't forge to drag the formula down till you data exist... in A column

Unfortunately this did not work...
The output on sheet 1 does not correspond with the correct matched pair (Column A and Column B) on sheet 2.

Maybe if you dont mind, try to upload you sample workbook? maybe we can spot the problem and provide the solution
