if statement choosing between three different cells

Hey Everyone - I can't seem to get this if statement to work. I am trying to say if column ay is empty, give me ax (as long as ax is not na), if ax is na, give me aw, otherwise give me ay.

Can someone please help me figure this out? I've been spinning my wheels on this for a couple hours and am stuck. I've attached an image as well.

    Thanks,
    Michael

    Formula: copy to clipboard
    =IF(AY<>"", AY, IF(AX<>na, AX, AW))
