Need supply shortage indicator on dashboard

    Here is the prompt:

Create a supply shortage warning indicator that references all of the relevant information on the dashboard sheet. This should measure the month-by-month shortages of total supply capability (which includes inventory and scheduled receipts if the month being analyzed is “inside” lead time, and it includes supplier capacity if the month being analyzed is “outside” lead time) relative to one of the demand forecasts (the forecast being analyzed should be able to be selected—high, expected, or low—from a drop-down list). This warning indicator should show projected shortages month-by-month for the next six months. You can put the indicator in the cells below the SUPPLIER CAPACITY on the dashboard (for example, starting in Cell G15).

I'm not sure how to do this, never done anything like this before.

Hi, not a solution (at least not yet). But just reporting one mistake each... There was an error in the return in cell A1 (your one...) where the value didn't correspond with the dashboard) and a similar mistake (mine...) in the dashboard rows, where it was picking up the row above the correct row. Both sorted.

There are also a couple of questions

Is the inventory reported an ENDING or a STARTING INVENTORY?. There is no date on the inventory report

Is there a minimum stock policy other than 0? is it a general one or a product specific?

Was anything found out with this? Curious as I'm needing to do something similar to this.

Thanks. I was just wondering what the resolution was as I'm doing a project similar to this.
