populating a picture based on a number

My question is, I have a large excel workbook that is full of data about certain parts. I am able to enter a number and populate the sub item using VLookup but I would like to populate a picture based on the sub item. The pictures are located in there own folder inside the folder where this excel file is located. Any help would be appreciated. I have attached a file to show what i would like.

I attached an edited version of your workbook.

    • Enter the path to your picture folder in the PictureFolder box

When you change the value of cell C10, which I named: rngDisplayName
    • The Worksheet_Change macro picks up the activity and runs this code:
Please Login or Register to view this content.
...which runs this code that places the referenced picture in the range of cells I named: rngPicDisplayCells
Please Login or Register to view this content.
Is that something you can work with?

This can also be done using Drop down list options.

The attached spreadsheet shows you how - note the instructions are on Sheet 2

Another option is to use the "Comment" as a picture. I once used this with a student list and each student had their own photo as a Comment so staff could identify them in the list.

I have used your spreadsheet and note you have the "Comment" permanently displayed but usually if you have hundreds then this would be hidden until the cell is selected.

I acknowledge if there are hundreds pf products this can be time-consuming, but once set up works like a treat, even for those not familiar with Excel.
