I have a weekday formula in cell a8.
I want to use that result in my array formula located in cell a10, but it just produces a blank cell.
It works if i do not use the weekday formula and just type the date in.

Hi and welcome to the forum
You do know that the formula in A8 is producing a date, not a week number?
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools

Yes, in fact It's that date I need to use in cell a10.
However, if i type the date (instead of using the weekday() formula into a8, a10 produces the result I need.
Hope i'm making sense...

OK I am unable to see the contents of the other file, but A8 contains date AND time (is is formatted to not show time). Does the other file include time?

is not the same as...
Tuesday, Jun/624/14 2:49 PM
If you only want the date, use =TODAY() in I3
That was the problem...I changed I3 and everything else populated as it should.
Thank you so much for your time.
Glad we got it resolved, I have made that same mistake myself before
