Hi, My name is Jessica and I dabble in Excel. I am working on creating an attendance tracker for work. I am almost done but need some help with a few final areas.
- Is it possible to have each employee run on a rolling calendar year based on their date of hire vs. a calendar year? (If yes how?)
- Tab "Employee Pnts" Can I set up the pivot table to automatically update?
A little about my company's attendance policy. It is a point base system that is weighted based on how late an employee is, how much time is left in a shift if they leave early, and do they call out or don't call out for a scheduled shift.
Every year on their anniversary it restarts. There are ways also to earn back points (Coming in on a day off, staying later, etc).

As we are currently doing it using excel, but in a very barbaric way. Each employee has a row. In that row we put the point value, with a designated color, then insert a note with the detail and then sum the total. It is very hard to review.
