Formula don't Add related results
Dear All,
I was trying to add certain values of corresponding text , i used the index function but it only return the first value only don't add , And i can't use the sum as i want to apply this in more than table whit different length , so every time i want it to search for correspond values of an exact text
Formula I use
=(INDEX($C$1:$C$99,MATCH("LTD Result",$B$1:$B$99,0)))
and as seen it only return only the first value not the sum

A question & a request. What result did you expect? 21?? Also - please upload a spreadsheet, not a screenshot.

Formula:
=SUMIFS(C:C,B:B,"LTD RESULT")

Maybe:Formula:=SUMIF(B:B,"LTD Result",C:C)

It should upload in the same was as your screenshot - go advanced - manage attachments - and then select your file. Anyhow - I hope that you aree OK with the result. If so, can you mark the thread as closed and (preferably) click the Add Reputation button at the foot of the post(s) of those who helped you.
