Counta for visible cells only

Dear Experts,


I am working on a worksheet where column "C" to Column "EH" some data recorded.

Some time i need to hide all column like AA to EH.

I want that in every row if formula give result in column EI - COUNTA only for visible columns.

How to complile such formula

Please guide.

Hi,

I don't believe there is such a formula, (unlike the equivalent SUBTOTAL() function which will only count visible rows). You would have to use a UDF looping macro to detect column widths that are zero and if so exclude that cell value from the totalling part of the UDF.
