Re: Stop if True does not work in conditional formatting

    Looks fine to me
Those names where column B is >50 and <150 turn red
those names where column B is >170 turn blue
    everything else stays the same.

What do you think it should look like?

Ensure you describe your problem clearly, I have little time available to solve these problems and do not appreciate numerous changes to them.

    Hi,

how to stop the next condition B is >170 turn blue if the 1st condition B is >50 and <150 turn red true? Is it using stop if true?

Re: Stop if True does not work in conditional formatting

But NONE of the data has turned BLUE that is >50 and <150.
The ONLY data that has turned BLUE is data that is >170 which is what youve typed in.

All "Stop if True" means is that the "blue" condition will not get tested if the "red" condition is true.

All data that is meant to turn red has turned red.
All data that is meant to turn blue has turned blue.
and these are defined in your Conditional Formatting.

Re: Stop if True does not work in conditional formatting

    Hi,

Sorry for my poor understanding on stop if true. If let's say I have changed the next condition B is >170 turn blue to B is >100 turn blue, so it become conflict between the 1st condition whereby B is >50 and <150 turn red.

In this case, even though I check or unchecked the Stop if true box, the result would be the same
