Formula description while configuring formulas

Hello!
This is my first post and hopefully I'll get you help and for sure I will do my best to help whenever is possible.
At the moment i have a really strange issue: while compiling a formula, I do not see the information about "where I am in the formula". I mean, for instance, if I am using the IF formula, I cannot see information if I am in the first condition, in the second part (the consequence) or it the "otherwise" part. This is happening with all formulas.

Any help please?
