    I have thousands of emails separated by commas, looking for a formula..

    Hello EF,

    This is what I have...

    Thousands of emails in this format..

    example@gmail.com;example@gmail.com;...mple@gmail.com;

    Spread into 5 cells. In the first column, the first 5 rows is where all these emails are. They are in the first 5 cells.

    It looks like this http://gyazo.com/2bc6aa7407fd6a28f8216b67ac2da417

    I'm looking for a formula which will...

    Separate all of these emails so they are stacked in 1 column & in individual cells like this format..

    example@gmail.com;
    example@gmail.com;
    example@gmail.com;
    example@gmail.com;
    example@gmail.com;

    Can anyone help me? Thanksss

    Hi and welcome to the forum

    Please do not upload a picture of your file...rather, upload a sample of your workbook, showing what data you are working with, a few samples of your expected outcome (manually entered is ok) and how you arrived at that. (Exclude sensitive info). Pictures are pretty much impossible to edit, and no-one wants to re-type your data for you. Also, not all members can upload picture files (Company firewalls, etc.)

    To attach a file to your post,
    click advanced (next to quick post),
    scroll down until you see "manage file",
    click that and select "add files" (top right corner).
    click "select files" find your file, click "open" click "upload" click 'done" bottom right. click "submit reply"

    Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window.
    You can then close the window to return to the new post screen.

    Thanks for the reply but it's just an example of how it's layed out. I do not wish to reveal my email list of thousands of emails to people as it's worth a lot of money.

    Understandable, but create a dummy file. Again, I can't imagine anyone creating a file like that to test for you, and it will have to be tested before publishing.
