    Vlookup using 2 column matched

    Hello friends,
    In the attached sheet I want TR no. in sheet names TLPL using 2 criteria of truck no. and date.

    Hi Lokpal (Aam Aadhmi ?? ),

    I built a helper column and used vlookup to map the values. Check out the attached workbook. I've colored the formulated columns in yellow. Is this what you need?

    I think you want the values in column D of sheet 111.xlsx filled in. If not - then what ? I can see that the truck IDs are contained in the value of the string in column B of the TLPL sheet (starting with RJ14GC). However, in your example - where can I find the Tr No (13065) in cell D4 of 111.xlsx?

    There are 2 sheets. I want TR no. in column H of sheet TLPL which has to come from sheet 111. Date and truck no. like 5530,6900 should be matched.

    Wrong answer given in error. I forgot to add in the date criterion. Go with Punnam's solution.
