I need a function to find the sub total in a range that is based on a criteria (similar to the "Sumif" function, but I want to exclude filtered cell values)

Try this, If 9 is used insted of 109 all rows will be summed.109 restricts to only visible cells.

.http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ex...005209288.aspx..Function_num is the number 1 to 11 (includes hidden values) or 101 to 111 (ignores hidden values) that specifies which function to use in calculating subtotals within a list.
