How to get rid of an Error Checking symbol and message.

Good afternoon. In the attached workbook I am getting an Error Checking symbol and message in Column F. I have the following formula preset for all cells in column F:

The error message tells me that the cell contains a formula and the cell is not locked therefore the formula is not protected. I've not locked the cell and protected the worksheet because I need the functionality of the Pivot Tables (i.e. sorting), which is lost once the worksheet is protected.

So, unless I can figure out a way to have my cake and eat it too (i.e. protected worksheet and the ability to sort and add new rows) I just need to find a way to shut off the Error Checking symbol/message so it doesn't pop up all the time. Is this possible? and Recommended?

    Thanks.

It has nothing to do with the file; it is an option in excel.

    Go to:
    Options
    formulas
Delete checkmark before: enable background error checking

    Willem,

Thanks for providing an answer so quickly. I've unchecked that box and the error message is gone. Many people will be using this form so is there a way to uncheck this box via VBA or something else like that? Unfortunately I won't be able to get into everyone's machine to manually make this adjustment. Thanks.

Maybe VBA expert could do it.
I am not one off them.

Open VBA Editor (Alt+F11), on the project window on the left pane, double click on ThisWorkbook and in the opened code window, paste the below code and save your workbook as Excel Macro-Enabled Workbook.
