Good afternoon. In the attached workbook I am getting an Error Checking symbol and message in Column F. I have the following formula preset for all cells in column F:
The error message tells me that the cell contains a formula and the cell is not locked therefore the formula is not protected. I've not locked the cell and protected the worksheet because I need the functionality of the Pivot Tables (i.e. sorting), which is lost once the worksheet is protected.![]()

So, unless I can figure out a way to have my cake and eat it too (i.e. protected worksheet and the ability to sort and add new rows) I just need to find a way to shut off the Error Checking symbol/message so it doesn't pop up all the time. Is this possible? and Recommended?
Thanks.
Matthew
