Counting Cells with Text

I have a spreadsheet where cells B1 thru CF1 are ID#s.

Cells, A2 thru A21 are questions.

Each cell inside the matrix may or may not have an answer to the question in them.

I would like to count those items that have text in them and get a total per row of ID#s that answered the question.

E.g. if the question in A2 is "what is the name of your dog" and five people put names(different names) in the cells, I want a formula for cell CG2 to give me that count of 5

In CG2 type =Counta(B2:CF2)
