Using an array and conditional formatting

I may be wrong with your intention.

But if you simply want the cell to change to a certain colour depending on what number you enter.. then

go to conditional formatting.
-highlight cells rule
-equal to
e.g "3" or 3
and choose colour.

and that should work easy.

I'm really sorry, I setup the file incorrectly.
The axis was in the wrong place. I've tried to fix it for the past 30 minutes and can't get it right.
Are you able to help out. I wont be making anymore changes.
