If someone could help I would greatly appreciate it!!

I have an 'Effective date' in F7, 'Revision date' in H7 and in I7 the 'Review date' and I need to do the following:
If F7 is 3 years old, I want the date to be 3 years greater (eg. F7 is Oct 6, 2009 I want I7 to be Oct 6, 2012)
If G7 is 3 years old, I want the same...the date to be 3 years past that date.
If the dates are within the 3 year range I want the cell to be blank.

I have: =IF(F7="","",EDATE(F7,36)), IF(H7="","",EDATE(H7,36)). But it's not working

I'm not great with formulas so if there's a better one out there I'm open to anything!
