RUDIS you will understand be better maybe ,
since its simpler technology of the pricelist program of yours that I am using already
Raw data sheet 2 , Pull data according Search on Sheet1
Here is what RUDIS did for a workable program ,
should anyone of you fill like trying
The technology is the same , need not drop menu , seach by typing
Sorry...I missed your posts...
I'll see if I can help.
Regards,
Rudi
Same stuff that you list for the automated pricelist
Its so cool , that it was nick named the MAGIC PRICELIST
Hi,
Here is the file with the filter.
I did not add the drop downs as this can be easily added using the validation feature. The drop downs are not dependent on the code.
Well...I've always believed VBA is Excels magic center... LOL
Its planned to be called the BULLET RES FILE
The date formula works if the record of filter is one e.g. if I search by code
Hi,
Sorry...I overlooked that part.
One of two ways to fix that.
1. Either put a date in cell "R1" on sheet 1 - you can use the formula =TODAY() just like the one on sheet 2
~OR~
2. I can make the macro paste the content on sheet 1 as values, so it removes the formulas that calculate the dates in the DAYS column. It will just show the number instead of a formula
Thanks RUDIS , I have plugged that =today() as I did on the
raw sheet and its working fine
Many many thinks for replying before I even woke , I can now
carry the file yet again for another magical file and yet enjoy
a line of congratulations from team members , ha ha ha , last year
I was nick named the STOCK ROBOT , this year the have added to me
another two names THE EXCEL MAN , they are likely to call me the
MACRO MAN after this two power files answered by you , once again
you all these from your courtesy answers same day
Happy to help Makinmomb.
Those "power" names sound cool LOL![]()
