Data Validation (possibly using an if statement)

I have two worksheets, labeled 'Time' and 'Projects'

On the Time tab, I want to choose from a dropdown of clients (column A on both sheets)
I want column B on the Time worksheet to return the corresponding jobs in column B for that client.

    example Projects sheet:

    Client PA | JOB A
    Client PA | JOB B
    Client NY | JOB B
    Client NY | JOB C
    Client NJ | JOB C

If I select Client PA on the Time sheet, I only want Data Validation to let me Choose JOB A and JOB B.

Thanks in advance for the help.

As longas your second sheet is always sorted so the column A values for the same client are together in the list, this is pretty easy.

Post an actual sample of your workbook so I can install a working version of the named ranges you would use to do this.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

In my spreadsheet on the 'Time' tab, I want the user to choose from a unique list of customers in Column C, then see the applicable items for that client in column D. Column B is meant to be a return of that project # - that is not currently working, but I'll find a way to do that as I'm only asking about the Data Validation piece of this spreadsheet.

    Thanks!
