Hi Y'all
Can anyone shed some light on why the VLOOKUP formula is not working as it should in the attached file?
Thanks
Brian

Without you explaining what's not working about it, it's hard to tell.
But try changing TRUE in the formula for FALSE.
If that's not what's wrong, tell us what the problem is.
A thousand apologies.
You will notice that using the ID Number as the look up value does not return the correct information. When I start to type in the function in Excel there is an explanation that the table needs to be sorted in ascending order. Which table are they talking about? The table that has the look up information, the second worksheet.
Thanks

Have a look at the attached. Does this give you the values you'd expect?
Keep in mind that any showing an #N/A error is due to the ID Number not appearing on the "HRD Employee List" worksheet.
