The use of AI tools (e.g. chatGPT, BARD, GPT4 etc) to create forum answers is not permitted. If a user is believed to have used such tools to provide a forum answer, sanctions may be imposed.
HOW TO ATTACH YOUR SAMPLE WORKBOOK:Unregistered, Fast answers need clear examples. Post a small Excel sheet (not a picture) showing realistic & representative sample data WITHOUT confidential information (10-20 rows, not thousands...) and some manually calculated results. For a new thread (1st post), scroll to Manage Attachments, otherwise scroll down to GO ADVANCED, click, and then scroll down to MANAGE ATTACHMENTS and click again. Now follow the instructions at the top of that screen.

Problem with NORMSDIST and distribution of hours
Good morning everyone,

This is my first post in this splendid forum. I'm sure I will learn many things here.

I'm sorry if my first post includes a question!

Let me explain what is the problem.

I made the below spreadsheet in order to distribute a generic sum of hours (making a bell curve more or less) for a standard project by disciplines (Engineering field).

As you can see there are also 2 percentages (Go and Get) that balance the hours.

I don't understand why the sum of the distribution in BD53 doesn't exactly reflect the hours in B6. Any ideas?
