Conditional Formating with and Array

I have a players list with a player # next to it. When I enter his player # into a group I would like his name to highlight so I know he is already in a group. I have attached a spreadsheet.

1. highlight the range you want to apply the conditional formatting to (D4:D30)
2. on the home tab, styles, select CF
3. select new rule, select use formula
4. enter =COUNTIF($G$3:$J$19,C4) format fill as needed
