Hi Guys,
I have a bunch of =sumprod linked to another work book to calculate a bunch of sumif and countif's and its really slow to update the values.
Is there anyway i can speed up the calculation? i have a brand new i7 3.4ghz quad core 8.1gb ram computer rates 8 overall with microsoft and still, extreme lag issues.. i dont understand

in some cases yes.
reduce the ranges to only what you need. Change A:A to A1:A10000 or something like that

That would do it.in some cases yes
Best to define some Dynamic Named Ranges or perhaps convert the data to a Table and use structured Table references.
