Count one month in a dates range.

I am having difficulties finding the right formula to calculate how many selected months are in a range of dates.

I want to Count how many Mar, Apr, Jul, ... etc.

Thank you very much sktneer... as you can see on this picture, I've got a personnel that will leave and be back in same month. I would like to be able to count that as 1. Is there anyway to do that?
