Why is the second plot not using the logarithmic x axis?

    If you leave Excel's default horizontal alignment (General) alone, you could tell at a glance that some of the x values are text, because they align left.

    Select column H, do Ctrl+H (Find & Replace) find: ~*10^ and replace with: E then press Replace All
