I have a pivot date with a dyanmic data source that will be updated regularly. The pivot calculates specific information available in the data set and I have created 2 unique calculation fields : Gross Profit ($) and Gross Profit (%). The fields work just fine, however once the pivot table is filtered to limit the view of the table, the calculation for the Gross Profit (%) gets corrupted and no longer populates. The basis of each formula is similar, however in order to get a percentage I have to divide. It is not a DIV/0 error I am getting, but a #NAME? error as the formula essentially gets wiped out. Is there a solve for this? I would like to provide this file to the field and allow them to update the dataset on their own and they do not have the excel knowledge to simply update the customized field everytime they want to refresh the file. Please help!
