Hi,
I have a pivot chart but it wont allow me to have a slicer. I can't see any differences in any of the other pivot charts I have.
Does anyone have any reasons for why this could be?
Thanks.

Sorry, but Slicer is not available on Excel versions prior to 2010

You may not use slicer in .xls file. Also if pivotcache is older version it must be upgraded I think.

Ahh briliant thanks. Can I ask you another question?
How do you automatically choose it to go from 'count of' to 'sum of'?
If data in the field is all numeric, Sum will be automatic; otherwise Count. You may not change this, however you may use code to reset fields - as I showed you before.![]()
Ahh right ok, where do i put the code?
I only know the basics of the excel.
In a normal module in your workbook.
