I have set up a pivot table for some data and although the first fields are fine for some reason the latter ones come up with a blank value when there are values there for it to calculate. No amount of refreshing in this world will make it do anything and I am not sure what is different about those columns compared with the previous ones which are working properly.
Can anyone please help?
I think probably your real data file has numbers stored as text. Changing the data source of the pivot table in your example to use Sheet2 data results in values for the SUM fields.

Thanks Izandol but I still can't get it to work. I have changed them from general to a number format but still no joy. I even did a format paint from one of the columns that is working but nothing. What did you mean about chagig the data source to use Sheet2?
Your example pivot table is looking in different file for the data.
Changing format will not change data - did you see displayed data change at all when you change format? If not, the data is surely text.
