    Mysterious Axis problem

I have a chart with a simple sequential number series as the horizontal Axis. The plots are appearing incorrectly against this axis. If it should be at the 2nd position it appears at position 9?

If I reverse the axis the bar correctly appears at position 2, but - I don't want the axis numbers reversed.

    WITH REVERSED AXIS

    DESIRED OUTCOME?

Can anyone tell me what wrong?

    Thanks, Michael
