Fill three discrete areas with solid fill in scatter diagram and make scatter visible

Hallo, I am new in the forum. I have the following problem.

I have a scatter diagram (X, Y) and I would like to project three discrete areas in the background with different fill colour. I managed it either with a VBA command or manually by inserting a rectangular shape. In both cases, the coloured areas set above the scatter data and consequently those are "invisible" since are in the background below the fills. Can you please help?

with you given requirement you can use a stacked column chart to shade the area.
