Post Pivot Table Filter - Without changing Grand Total

    Hello,

I have created a pivot table and naturally there will be a Grand Total at the bottom of it.In the Data part of the table, there are two columns. The second is the exact same field than the first one but expressed as percentage.
I applied a filter to show the top 5. Automatically, the grand total will change to show sum of the top 5, and the percentages of all data obviously will change with the "new grand total" (filtered).
I want to create a pie graph with the pivot table only with the top 5 percentages but the information is not correct...
I want to apply the filter without changing Grand Total.
    This is possible?
    Can you help me, please?
    Thanks!

    Nuno W

    Hi Nuno

One way round this avoids VBA and filtering. Order the Pivot table so it is in descending values i.e. the biggest number is at the top. Have another sheet or area where there are five rows with formulas in two columns pointing to the labels and values in the label and values in the top five rows of the pivot table. You can get the total from the pivot table with a formula that gets the maximum in the pivot table value column.

    Regards

    Dominic
