Horizontal Axis Labels not showing

xy scatters can only take numerical values for both x and y axes. Why not simply use a standard line graph?

Thanks for the reply! I was not aware of this. I did not like the sharp angles in line graphs but got around it by using the 'smoothed line' option in the 'line style'.
