PivotTable Exclude hidden rows

Hi folks,

how to exclude hidden row from pivot table.

E.g After i filter my data, i have 50 data which will not include into my data analysis. However, after set up pivot table, these 50 data still include into my counting from my pivot table. How to exclude? kindly advice pls

You have two options here…

1) just remove those 50 unwanted data from your pivot data source
2) Just add a column and type Show on each cell and type Hide on the 50 unwanted data rows.
In pivot table add that newly created column in Page Group (Report Filter) area and select Show only.

Other than remove the 50 unwanted data, still got any other options? cos I need the 50 data for other calculation in my pivot table

E.g. From process A to B to C
I need to calcuate the time taken from A to B To C

If let say process B dont have a date. I will calculate the time taken from Process A to C instead

Hence, in this case i need to exlcude the 50 data from my calculation of the time taken from Process A to C
