Hi all,
My dilemma- I have a table of dates that follow no discernible order (the dates are basically random). I'm creating a scatter plot where the dates are the x-axis. How can I make the ticks on the x-axis say the exact dates that are on my table without just expanding the table so that it is really long?

Thank you for your reply, but I still don't understand how to do this. Moreover, how this works when using 2 sets of y-values in a smooth scatter.

The answer depends on what you date values are.
If you want specific dates, based soley on your data, and for those to be treated as true dates (not just categories) and you can not get them using the Major Unit value then you will need to create your own axis labels using additional series. As per my example.
If you only want the dates in your data and you are happy for them to be treated as categories then format the axis to be Text rather than Date.
