3 Separate Stacked bars in 1 Chart

    Hi all,

I need some help with creating 3 separate stacked bars but having them in one chart. Right now in cells c2:F6, I have the data I want put into a stacked chart correctly, the only problem is that I want to be label it according to its category name. Since the chart I created is kinda cheating in that it's not labeled at all, I can only manually edit the label names. However, since the data numbers may change, I want the label names to be dynamic.

In cells L3:S8, I have how the data should be presented and how it should be labeled.

Is this possible? Thanks in advance and let me know if this isn't making any sense.

You can use this free addin to link data labels to cells.

Use formula to build required label text.

Thanks Andy! That did it. Quick question in your formula it says ..char(10),text(l4,"$#,#0.00"), how did you figure out that 10 character spaces were needed to put it on a separate line? Just trial and error?

Thanks again for everything, sincerely appreciated.

CHAR(10) is not 10xSpace but rather FormFeed. So it is forcing a new line.

When I was playing around with it, and dropped it less than 10 then it wouldn't be on separate lines. Could you explain by what you mean by form feed?

    Thanks again.

Oops, actually CHAR(10) is LineFeed, CHAR(12) is form feed.

    Anyway they are special characters.

Same as ALT+ENTER when editing a cell to force word wrapping.
