    Secondary Axis

    Hey,

    I have a problem, and it would be great if you could help.
    I'm trying to create a pivot chart, from existing data.
    I need a primary and a secondary axis, since I have two data sets, for the same products- sum in $ and quantity.
    The thing is, that when I'm changing one of the data series, to "secondary" axis, they are overlapping.
    How can I prevent it?

    Thanks!!

    Re: Secondary Axis

    Overlapping how? Do they cross each other?

    ...On the other hand, for each data point:
    A1 = product
    B1 = n (number of products)
    C1 = $sum = n * unit price

    In a case like that, where the two series are interdependent, then wouldn't they have exactly the same curve behavior?

    If you change the scale of one axis or the other so that they don't line up the same you could get them offset, but in that case I would expect the lines to move in lockstep, becuase they're locked together.

    Well, that's just guessing without an example to look at.

    Re: Secondary Axis

    If the issue is overlapping then I would guess the chart type of both series is column.
    Try changing the chart type of one of the series to line

    Thank you both, I have actually already realized, that in case that the chart type is column, there's no other way (at least I guess so), and when it's line or scattered, than it's perfect.

    If it's not true, let me know.

    Thanks
