Hi,
I’ve been trying to figure this out for a while and I think I’m at the point where I need a fresh set of eyes.
The goal is to make this concise and easy for people to use / comprehend. It will be used by multiple people at different locations. The attached is the template I've come up so far.
The problem I’m running into is trying to fit all of these values into one chart. More specifically, I’m unsure of how to incorporate the shift total and shift percentages into this data. Right now I have 5 columns of data in my table. User, Shift, Occurrences, Percent of Total and Cumulative Percent. I want to be able to show the total percentage of errors by a shift as well as comparatively showing the same data shift vs. shift while keeping the user data intact. If it sounds confusing hopefully the attached template I have will help clarify.
I also wanted to include a second chart on this page (the pie chart) that shows a bit more detail. Error type, number of errors of that type and possibly the user. I’m not sure if it’s even possible to extrapolate this data from my initial set of problem data. I was thinking of moving the “type of error” into the problem data table, add a drop down with the error types and then have that calculate in the table containing the pie chart.
Any help or suggestions or even a different way of thinking about it would be appreciated. I’m a bit new to 2010 but I really try to think out my problems and solve them to the best of my ability with the knowledge I have. Thanks!
