I have eliminated the formulas in a cell using “save as value” three different ways. (copy, paste, f-2, f-9; copied column to a different column using “save as value” and moved the column onto itself using save as value.) All three work. Until I put the converted data into a pivot table. If I “save as value” on one cell, the pivot table picks it up. But if I highlight more than one cell, the pivot table only reads the top cell in the highlighted section. I have about a zillion cells I need to “save as value” and don’t relish typing copy, paste, f-2, f-9 for 2 days. Thanks. (By the way... it COUNTS the converted data ok. It just won't put the values themselves into the table.)
