Formatting Multiple Series in a Chart

I have a line chart with 255 series in it. When the chart is created the default line width is 2.75 pts which looks too cluttered. I would like to format all 255 series to have 0.75pt or 1.00pt line width. I've tried creating a chart template and applying it but apparently line formats are not included in the template. I haven't been able to figure out how to select all 255 series to bulk format them.

I rather suspect VBA is the answer here but I have absolutely no understanding of VBA or how to use it. I'm a complete VBA novice.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you,
    Dave

Re: Formatting Multiple Series in a Chart

    Hi,

    Here's one workaround.

Create another chart with e.g. just one series of the desired line width. Highlight this series. CTRL+C to copy.

Now select your other chart (the whole Chart Area will do) and go the Home tabPaste SpecialFormats.

Now press F4 repeatedly (even holding down may work). It seems to require significantly less presses than the actual number of series to be changed.

    Regards
