filtering axis values on a pivot chart

    i've attached a sample book.

I want to be able to filter by name in the legend (which i seem to have accomplished), but then i would also like to filter by value on the axis fields. For instance, i can select "Johnson, amy" and "Keith, toby", but i also want to be able to choose just to see "Sum of One Eval" and "Sum of training" without seeing any of the other axis fields. i'd like to be able to chart numerous combinations of name and values.

    Thanks for any help!!

If you change the pivot table, it also change the chart.

    See the attached file.

Is there any way to have ALL of the axis fields in the table (as mine shows), but be able to filter them to show what you have illustrated in your example. I want to be able to have all options available to filter based on names i select, thus being able to quickly change the data being compared.

I don't know if you can easily change a chart.

It's very easy to change the pivot table (to my opinion).

But maybe it's even more easy if you are able to rearange your data from column to rows.

In that case it is much easier to make an pivot table.

You can e.g. also group (depending or related) data.
