Dynamic X-Axis in excel chart using form control

I am able to build a spreadsheet with a graph that changes the series for the Y-Axis by utilizing form control. That way with a click of the button in the chart I can change the data displayed in the chart.

Is it possible to do this for the X-Axis? To be able to quickly change the time frame? By using form control? I have tried building a text string that changes dynamically but I cannot seem to get the "Select Data" box to accept the text string.
