Can't merge date and time data to scatterplot time/date vs. depth correctly, please help

I have heard that this is the place to go for strange formatting issues with excel data so here I am. I am trying merge time and date data, and then plot that merged data against depth in a scatter-plot. I have tried many different ways to do this, but I can not seem to get it right. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks. Test1.xlsx

You have a space before all of your time values. You can use the TRIM function to remove spaces from the start or finish of your cells. In d2 insert the formula =TRIM(B2), and drag down. then copy and past values over column B to replace with Time values.
Please click the * icon below if I have helped.

    Melivinrobb,
You nailed it, thank you so much! I never even considered there being a space before the actual number.
